FUSION SOCCER CLUB COACH EXPECTATIONS

• Follow the rules and policies of Fusion Soccer Club and TCSL, US Club or other leagues.
• Strive to make soccer an enjoyable and positive learning experience for players and their families.
• Place the health, safety, and welfare of players ahead of your own personal goals or desire to win.
• Respect the individual differences of players and model inclusive behavior, decrying all types of discrimination.
• Maintain and improve coaching skills and teach players the Laws of the Game.
• Do your best to plan practices that are fun and challenging.
• Coach within the age specific development program set forth by FSC and USSF.
• Teach players to strive for success and play fairly.
• Respect the opponents, parents, fans and the game officials and actively encourage players and parents to do the same.
• Be a model of grace, dignity and composure in victory as well as defeat and encourage the players to do the same.
• Strive to control the actions of players, their parents and fans at all games and scrimmages.
• Communicate with parents, players, coaches, and FSC staff members with courtesy, honesty and respect at all times and represent Fusion Soccer Club in a positive way.
