FAQs

Q: How do I register for Fusion Summer Camps? 

A: All camp registrations are through our partner, Playmetrics. Registration for Fusion Soccer Camps is very similar to registering and paying for any other Fusion program, using your Playmetrics Account. Create an account HERE

Q: What if I am not a Fusion soccer player. Is it still easy to register? 

A: Yes, all Fusion SC camps and events are open to anyone, regardless of club or age. Simply create a PlayMetrics account HERE. If you are having any problems registering, please contact Julia Hangartner at j.hangartner@fusionsoccermn.com

Q: l'm unable to attend ALL of the days of a camp that I would like to attend, can I still sign up and participate?

A: Yes, missing a day of camp is no problem. We do not prorate camp fees, but we may have a later day in our camp lineup for you to makeup the day(s) you have missed.

Q: How will important camp information be sent to me once I have signed up?

A: Once you are registered for one, two, or all of the camps you will be sent updates via email as we get closer to the start date of each camp. Emails will be sent to the address entered in your registration under "Main Contact". 

Q: How will I know if a day of camp is canceled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances?

A: Important weather related / emergency / cancellation information will be communicated via your camp registered email address and posted on the fusion website home page in real time.

Q: Can my child attend camp with a friend in the same group?

A: As a part of registration, there will be a question that specifically asks you to provide the names of friends who want to be grouped together. Please fill this section out with first and last name(s) of campers that your child wants to be with. We will do everything we can to accommodate these requests.

Q: Will camp be canceled due to rain?

A: No. Rain will not stop Fusion Soccer Camps. Camps will be canceled in the event of lightning or the threat of severe weather. We will do everything in our power to communicate realtime information on weather or unforeseen circumstances with you.

Q: What does my player need to bring every day to Fusion Soccer Camps?

A: It is important that your player brings: appropriate weather clothing, soccer ball, shinguards, lots of water, snacks, and sunscreen if needed

Q: Who do I contact in case of emergency during camp?

A:  Each Fusion Soccer Camp will have a director of operations for the week who will be on site every minute of camp. Prior to the first day of camp, you will receive an email that will include on-site contact information. 

Q: What if my player is hurt or becomes sick during camp? What first aid processes and communication will take place?

A: If a medical emergency arises, the camp director will call 911. If another medical situation presents itself that requires attention from staff, we will use the contact information provided in your registration to advise you of the situation and action taken.

Q: Are parents allowed to participate in Fusion Soccer Camps?

A: We have great confidence that our professional soccer staff will provide your son or daughter with an unbelievable camp experience. While we are more than happy to have parents watch and enjoy the camp itself, we respectfully ask that you let the coaches coach, the players play.

Q: Where will Fusion Soccer Camps be held?

Summer: Wayzata Turf or Grass Fields located off Highway 55 and Wayzata High School Road


Winter: Fusion Facility or Plymouth Creek Community Center

Q: If I cannot stay during camp hours, when should I pick up and drop off my child at Fusion Soccer Camps? 

A: Please plan on dropping off your son or daughter 15 minutes prior to the start time and please plan on arriving on site 10-15 minutes prior to the end of activities that day. 

Q: My child is outside of the registration range for a specific camp, can we still register?

A: Short answer….yes! Long answer….if this situation occurs, please let us know. We are more than happy to accommodate all campers of all ages and abilities. Please send an email that outlines what age / playing level / experience with soccer your son or daughter has and we can provide an appropriate camp plan for your child.

Q: What makes Fusion Soccer Camp different than other area youth soccer camps? 

A: Each year, the Fusion SC summer camp staff is very excited for all of our summer camp offerings, and the incorporation of NEW Fusion Soccer Camps. We feel that our professional staff will provide your child with a great experience, leaving them wanting more. Our staff includes current and former collegiate players and professional coaches. Staff credentials include state, regional, and national licenses. Fusion Soccer Camp staff also includes highly educated professionals in the areas of education, sports medicine, and social and emotional well-being.

Q: What is the Fusion Camp refund policy?

A: Requests for refunds must be received in writing by May 1, 2025. Any refunds will be in the form of a credit voucher valid toward future FSC programs, less a $30 administrative fee.
